Francesco’s Café has been in the area for a little over a year and makes fresh food made to order. Experience the Italian décor while eating your freshly grilled pannini or homemade soup. The café uses bread baked daily by Apple Annie’s. Each sandwich comes with a pickle spear and your choice of a side item. Francesco’s offers mouth watering pasta salad, potato salad, purple coleslaw, fresh fruit salad, cucumber onion salad (seasonal) or chips. Plus, salad dressings and sides are made from scratch on a daily basis.

Once you enter through the doors, you are whisked away to an Italian piazza. Marvel at the artwork while enjoying live music and/or a delicious meal or dessert. Francesco’s Café takes pride in their food products.

For a caffeine boost, the café has everything to meet your needs. Francesco’s Café brews fresh roasted coffee beans from around the world seven days a week. They also have a variety of other tasty drinks that will give you energy. Or, if you prefer, you can consume a decaffeinated espresso or drink of your choice.

Have you tried an affogato? What a taste bud sensation with the best of both worlds – espresso over gelato.

Smiling faces will offer you samples of gelato. All of Francesco’s gelato is made on-site from ingredients shipped straight from Italy. Not only that, but the café has staff members trained and certified in gelato making. You can’t leave your Italian experience without at least a taste of Francesco’s flavorful gelato!

What is gelato? It is Italy’s version of ice cream, but it is healthier. Gelato is made with milk instead of cream so it has less fat. Gelato also has less air, which makes it more dense and flavorful. Another bonus to this treat – all the ingredients are natural. Gelato is also creamier than and not as cold as ice cream. Hence, your mouth doesn’t freeze after a few bites and you can enjoy the delicious tastes from start to finish.

The café is open seven days a week (Mon- Fri 8-8, Sat 9-8, Sun 11-5)and even has four tables in an enclosed outdoor patio if you want to enjoy a meal in the sunshine (or outside under an umbrella). You don’t have to eat and leave; you can relax and stay awhile. Francesco’s has a flat screen TV in the back, a lounge area, and wireless internet access.
